Dak Prescott pumps up Cowboys fans with latest comments
Can they make it happen?
The Football Feed
The Dallas Cowboys have made it clear that Dak Prescott is their starting quarterback for the foreseeable future. In fact, team owner and general manager Jerry Jones recently stated that he hopes that Prescott starts under center for his team for literally the next decade! Talk about dedication to one player.
Prescott was able to help lead the Cowboys to a postseason victory last season over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before they would ultimately fall to the San Fransisco 49ers for the second straight year.
So, what is Prescott expecting from the Cowboys in 2023? He's expecting them not only to continue their building process, but enjoy an even better result this year.
“You’re able to take two 12-win seasons over into this one and build. It’s the first time in my career I can say I feel like consecutive seasons are building," he said. "Going back to 2021, we’ve been able to build. We built that year and we can build again. I think that’s the best real chance that you have of making it. You got to give it knocks. You’ve got to see what it feels like. Us having that now, you feel a lot more comfortable, you’re excited about the details, the changes that we’ve had on the offense and just the team. I’m looking forward to it with a lot of excitement.”
Cowboys fans, what are you predicting for their final record this year? Can they break the door down and at least advance to the Conference Championship game?
