The era of wide receiver Michael Gallup with the Dallas Cowboys has officially come to an end. Earlier today, it was announced by the team that he's been released:
Gallup hauled in a total of 34 passes for 418 yards receiving and two touchdowns in 2023.
Originally selected third by the Cowboys in the 2018 NFL Draft, Gallup had played collegiately at Butler Community College before transferring to Colorado State, earning All-American honors in 2017.
In March of 2022, he agreed to a massive contract extension with the Cowboys, a five year, $62.5 million pact. In his career with the Cowboys, he's racked up 3,744 receiving yards on 266 receptions with 21 touchdowns.
