Dallas Cowboys announce major contract restructuring
Even more space freed up!
The Football Feed
Not only is the NFL salary cap going to be rising for each team by an unprecedented amount, but the Dallas Cowboys have freed up even more cap space by restructuring the contract of one of their core players.
The Cowboys have restructured the deal of All-Pro guard Zack Martin, freeing up approximately $13 million worth of space with which general manager and team owner Jerry Jones can work. As it was previously set, Martin was going to enter this season counting $28.5 million against the cap; thanks to the re-worked deal, he now will count only $15.9 million against the cap.
Martin enjoyed yet another highly productive season for the Cowboys in 2023, and is looking for bigger and better things in 2024.
