Dallas Cowboys dealing with “huge” injury setback

The Cowboys will be shorthanded in Week 5.

The Dallas Cowboys are going to be putting their three game winning streak on the line with a considerable test tomorrow as they travel to Hollywood to take on Matthew Stafford and the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams.

However, the Cowboys are going to be short one veteran member of their offensive attack. Offensive lineman Jason Peters has suffered a chest injury and could be absent for up to the next three weeks.

Per Cowboys senior writer Clarence Hill Jr.:

"Cowboys OG Jason Peters is officially listed as doubtful for Rams game with a chest injury. But he will not play and could be out a few weeks, per source. Huge setback."

The 40 year old veteran joined the practice squad last month and was elevated to the active roster shortly afterward. He saw action in 22% of his team’s offensive snaps against the New York Giants, while that increased to 34% of the snaps against the Washington Commanders, both Dallas victories.

The Cowboys and Rams will kick off tomorrow from SoFi Stadium at 4:25 PM EST.
