It looks as though the era of wide receiver Michael Gallup with the Dallas Cowboys is going to be coming to an end in 2024. According to multiple reports, the Cowboys are giving him permission to seek a trade.
Gallup hauled in a total of 34 passes for 418 yards receiving and two touchdowns in 2023.
Originally selected third by the Cowboys in the 2018 NFL Draft, Gallup had played collegiately at Butler Community College before transferring to Colorado State, earning All-American honors in 2017.
In March of 2022, he agreed to a massive contract extension with the Cowboys, a five year, $62.5 million pact. In his career with the Cowboys, he's racked up 3,744 receiving yards on 266 receptions with 21 touchdowns.
