Dallas Cowboys release one player, sign another
Jerry Jones continues to make moves.
We're inching closer and closer to the start of the 2022 NFL Season, and it won't be long before the Dallas Cowboys report for Training Camp. Until then, general manager Jerry Jones continues to try and fine tune the squad that currently hold the title of reigning NFC East champions.
Earlier today, the Cowboys announced a pair of transactions. In the first place, they released RB JaQuan Hardy, who signed with the team as an undrafted free agent following the 2021 NFL Draft. While appearing mostly with the team's practice squad, he got in a pair of games with Dallas last year, including in Week 18 in which he had carries for 26 yards and a touchdown.
Additionally, the Cowboys signed LB Malik Jefferson, who has spent time with the Bengals, Browns, Chargers and Titans. He previously played collegiately locally at Texas.
