Dan Orlovsky is worried about Cowboys QB Dak Prescott!
Is the opinionated analyst right to feel concern?
Though the Dallas Cowboys have won their past three games, their defense is largely to thank after they've racked up eight sacks, eight interceptions and five forced interceptions.
And as they're gearing up for what they hope will be a long playoff run, one notable analyst has admitted that he's worried about quarterback Dak Prescott.
Dan Orlovsky explained earlier today on "First Take" that he has a level of concern over the recent play of Prescott, who has averaged less than six yards per attempt in his last three games while tossing three touchdowns and three picks.
Take a look at what Orlovsky had to say:
"I honestly don't think that if Dak Prescott plays really good football, that the Cowboys are going to lose a playoff game because Mike McCarthy doesn't call a timeout at the right time," he explained.
"Now, if Dak Prescott is struggling and the offense is struggling, then there's multiple variables adding to a poor performance," he continued. "I'm concerned with Dak Prescott in regards to two things. Everyone is saying he's played poorly since the calf injury. If it hasn't gotten better since the calf injury in the past two months, I don't think it will get better in the next three weeks. He'll have to prove to everyone that he can play good football post-calf injury if that's why they're saying he's struggling. He's struggled for a multitude of reasons."
"First, I'm concerned with him in regards to his performance without Tyron Smith. In his last two games without Tyron Smith at left tackle. One touchdown, four picks, he's taken eight sacks. They need to make sure Smith is healthy for their playoff run."
"I think he's also dealing with the Patrick Mahomes/Josh Allen syndrome in which opposition defenses are playing their two high safeties, and Dak has remained ultra aggressive with the football. I think there needs to be bigger concern - for them to win a playoff game, he'll have to look like Dak Prescott in the first six weeks of the season. In the last seven weeks, we haven't seen that."
The Cowboys are in preparations to meet their rival Washington Football Team on December 26.
