This weekend's game between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers just got a little bit more interesting.
Former Cowboys pass rusher Randy Gregory has been traded from the Denver Broncos to the 49ers along with a 2024 seventh-round pick, right in time for the Week 5 matchup against his old teammates. In return, the 49ers sent a 2024 sixth-round pick to Denver.
Last offseason, Gregory signed a hefty $70 million deal over five years with the Broncos, with whom he never truly fit in. Gregory played the first six years of his career with the Cowboys, who drafted him No. 60 overall (as a second-round pick) in 2015 out of Nebraska.
The 3-1 Cowboys take on the 4-0 49ers this Sunday starting at 8:20 PM EST from Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
