Yet another former member of the Dallas Cowboys is on the verge of taking his rightful place in the Professional Football Hall of Fame.
Safety Darren Woodson, who played his entire National Football League career with the Cowboys and also holds the franchise record for tackles in a season in 2002, was named among the finalists for the Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
After playing collegiately with the Arizona Sun Devils, the Cowboys selected Woodson with the 37th overall pick of the 2nd round in the 1992 NFL Draft.
He would later go on to help the Cowboys win a trio of Super Bowl championships as part of their iconic dynasty in the 1990s. Over the course of his career, he racked up 1,350 tackles, 23 interceptions, 17 forced fumbles and 11 fumble recoveries.
