Fan injured during Panthers/Patriots brawl
It was the second straight day a brawl has broken out.
In the heat of competition, there are bound to be tempers boiling over - even amongst teammates in Training Camp. And certainly we're not surprised to see the competition boil over during joint practices, as the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers found out for the 2nd straight day.
Yesterday, punches were thrown after New England's Kristian Wilkerson was tackled by a Carolina defender. And today, the violence spilled over and affected a fan. The helmet from Patriots defensive end Deatrich Wise’s hurt the foot of a female fan who was on the bleachers; she would be checked on by team representatives and offered free tickets to an upcoming game.
