Field Yates: Dan Quinn is as good as gone from Cowboys
Is the Cowboys DC leaving?

This year signifies the official conclusion of an era for the Seattle Seahawks, as head coach Pete Carroll has formally departed from the franchise. Carroll, who guided the team to two Super Bowl appearances, clinching one championship, and secured five division championships during his 14-year tenure, leaves behind a significant legacy with the Seahawks.
Could his former defensive coordinator, Dan Quinn, currently with the Dallas Cowboys, be on the verge of returning to the Pacific Northwest as a replacement? Quinn has already conducted a virtual interview with the Seahawks, as well as the Tennessee Titans, and now has in-person interviews scheduled with both teams.
According to ESPN's Field Yates, Quinn is as good as gone from Dallas.
“It felt like just within hours of that announcement dropping, it was already ‘Dan Quinn to Seattle’ had generated a lot of steam,” Field Yates told Seattle Sports’ Wyman and Bob on Thursday. “And it’s logical in the sense that, of course, Dan knows pretty much everybody that’s been in the building for quite some time. He’s been a head coach himself so you kind of have an idea of what he can bring to the table, he’s a defensive-minded man, which of course is important for a team that I think right now is in really good shape offensively and just needs to really, really figure it out on defense. My general sense is that we’re still heading towards the Dan Quinn conclusion.”
Quinn brings valuable head coaching experience to the table, having previously led the Atlanta Falcons, including their notable run to Super Bowl 51.
