Green Bay Packers get terrible prediction
It could be a dark era emerging for the Packers.

It's a new day in Green Bay. The Aaron Rodgers era is officially over, and it's quarterback Jordon Love's show now. But just what kind of season can fans of the Packers realistically expect from what Love in what will be his first NFL season entering the year as the unquestioned starter?
Fans may not like this prediction from notable NFL analyst Colin Cowherd, who believes that the team will be entering a period of irrelevancy.
“I have never sold my stock on a football team in an OTA faster than I’m selling Green Bay’s now," Colin Cowherd said this week. "I went and looked at the Packers schedule and I came up with six wins. I think we’re going into what the Packers were in the 80s, kind of irrelevant.
"They don’t have a great quarterback, it’s increasingly a quarterback league. This is not a time when if you, 10-15 years ago, had a great running back and great defense you could be a dominating team. Those days are over. I looked this morning [at their schedule], I’m moving to 6-11 for the Green Bay Packers.”
With the expected emergence of the division rival Detroit Lions, who took both games from Green Bay last season, this could be a very unfamiliar year for the devoted Cheeseheads. It certainly was a great run, but that era is now in the past.
Jordan Love may have to learn the hard way for a few seasons what it takes to be a successful quarterback in the NFL, as the responsibilities of the team offense are now his.
