The Green Bay Packers lost a valuable member of their defense during yesterday's practice, as starting safety Darnell Savage suffered a hamstring injury while trying to cover second year wide receiver Amari Rodgers; he departed and spent the rest of practice with ice wrapped around his leg.

The injury took place during the team's "Family Night" practice at Lambeau Field.

However, the good news is that Savage himself doesn't appear concerned, and even had an interesting way of categorizing the injury.

"I don't think it's a concern," Savage said. "It's a fast-people injury. Some of those things you can't avoid. I'll just handle it the right way and listen to those guys back there and I'll be all right."
