Jerry Jones sounds off on Super Bowl drought
The Cowboys haven't won it all since 1995.

The Super Bowl drought for the Dallas Cowboys continued, as they were once again felled by the San Francisco 49ers in the postseason. They're still without a championship since the mid-1990, despite being the most valuable franchise in professional sports.
However, while speaking at the NFL Scouting Combine, team owner and general manager Jerry Jones isn't letting the drought get him down. Right now, he's just focused on getting the job done in 2023.
"I don't get discouraged when you say, 'You haven't been to a Super Bowl in X years,'" Jones said. "I do not do that because I could've won the last five and still might not get to another Super Bowl and I ought to be working my butt off to get to the next Super Bowl as if I had lost five or four. That's reality."
Does Jones plan on adding any free agents to his roster? In his words, he would love to bring aboard the "right" veteran.
"I want to tell you, don't dismiss us doing something special with the right veteran free agent," Jones said. "At any place. I would, in a New York minute, if I think that it fits more than a short-term situation for us."
Cowboys fans, are you still comfortable with Jones running the show?
