The Green Bay Packers faced the New York Jets this afternoon live from Lambeau Field. What should have been an easy victory for the home team did not turn out in favor of the green and yellow.
An easy 27-10 Jets victory sent Aaron Rodgers' team back to the locker room with one more setback on their record. However, the New York team was in a much different mood. While football experts ranked the Jets in the NFL's bottom end at the start of the season, they're off to a great start.
A video posted by NFL insider Tom Pelissero made the rounds on the web earlier today. You can see Jets CB Sauce Gardner wearing a cheesehead after the game.
After visiting the fans, he headed to the Packers locker room where Allen Lazard joined him in removing the iconic Lambeau Field hat.
After security blocked his access, he left smiling for his locker room. Clearly the atmosphere is light and festive in the organization of green and white.
Lazard confirmed shortly after in the locker room that it was just a joke and that he finds the Jets CB name pretty cool.
