JuJu Smith-Schuster won't close door on potential Steelers return
Could a return be in his future?

Though it was a day of saying farewell to Pittsburgh Steelers fans, it sounds as though he's not closing the door on coming back to Steel City.
Wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster signed a one-year, $3,250,000 contract with the Kansas City Chiefs earlier in the offseason, departing the Steelers after having hauled in 323 passes for 3,855 yards and 26 touchdowns from 2017 to 2021 wearing the black and yellow.
And while he's leaving for now, it sounds as though he could eventually make his way back to where his NFL career began.
"I could see myself back here," he said. "Even today, this shows a lot, that I still have fans out here coming out to support me."
Of course, the Chiefs attempted to sway Smith-Schuster to come to Kansas City last offseason before he ultimately decided he'd be returning to the Steelers. He'd finish the season on the shelf after suffering an injury in Week 5; he amassed 15 catches for 129 yards. While playing in five seasons with Pittsburgh, he racked up 3,855 yards and 26 touchdowns on 323 catches.
As a proper sendoff to Steelers fans, he held a fundraiser at Pittsburgh's Strip District Terminal along Smallman Street, with all proceeds being donated to local organizations like Paws Across Pittsburgh Animal Rescue and Magee-Women's Research Institute.
