Justin Jefferson makes big statement towards Davante Adams

Game on!

This morning, The Score reported a statement made by Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who plans on making some serious noise in 2022. Jefferson, who is entering his 3rd NFL season, said he is ready to take his game to the next level and made it clear that he will be the best wide receiver in the league, even better than Davante Adams, by next season.

At 23 years old, the former LSU player scored 10 touchdowns last season and recorded 108 receptions for 1,616 yards in 17 games. On the other side, Adams scored 11 touchdowns and 123 receptions for 1,553 yards in 16 games.

Obviously, their stats depends also on the team's performances. The debate on this can be long if you consider that atmosphere was probably awkward in the locker room with Aaron Rogers saga.

With Adams now with the Las Vegas Raiders, will it be more difficult for Adams to perform at his best when he's not hauling in passes from Rodgers?

The same could be said with the Minnesota Vikings, who could have a difficult season as well. Let's see how Justin Jefferson improves his game in 2022.
