Kenny Pickett takes jab at Steelers in farewell message
It's pretty obvious what he thinks!

The Kenny Pickett era with the Pittsburgh Steelers came to a shocking conclusion yesterday, as he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles not long after it was announced that the team had signed veteran Russell Wilson to a one-year contract.
According to reports, the reason for Pickett being dealt was the fact that he apparently refused to dress for the team as a backup quarterback near the end of the season, as well as his open opposition to them signing Wilson. He was once thought of as the heir-apparent to franchise legend Ben Rothlisberger, but that is now officially put to rest.
And in his farewell message to Pittsburgh, Pickett included what many are interpreting as a subtle jab to the franchise that just dumped him, as he didn't include a message of thanks to the organization.
He wrote the following:
“Thank you, Pittsburgh! I came to this city 7 years ago and my life changed forever. Grateful for all of the amazing people I was fortunate enough to cross paths with, and for all of those who supported me along the way. I made life-long friendships and relationships that I will always cherish. Now, I am honored and excited for the next opportunity in my career – being able to play for the team that helped me find my love for the game as a kid. Go Birds!!”
It's pretty obvious that Pickett is feeling slighted by the team that took him in the 1st round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
