Matt LaFleur gets brutally honest after Packers loss

The Green Bay Packers appeared to have things well in hand against the Atlanta Falcons during yesterday afternoon's Week 2 matchup, enjoying a 24-12 lead thanks to a trio of touchdown passes from quarterback Jordan Love. But the defense completely disappeared in the 4th quarter, allowing the Falcons to storm back and cap the rally with Younghoe Koo's 25-yard field goal with 57 seconds remaining.
The Falcons improved to 2-0 for just the second time since 2011, while the Packers dropped to 1-1 in the wake of last week's victory over the division rival Chicago Bears.

“Obviously very disappointing,” a very clearly frustrated LaFleur said in his postgame press remarks. “When you don’t make the plays and don’t play complementary football, and you have mistakes, those get magnified.”
Meanwhile, he got brutally honest about the team's defensive performance, saying that Atlanta simply "shredded" them by racking up 211 yards rushing and 446 yards overall.
“You guys saw it, they shredded us,” LaFleur said. “Consistently.”
“It’s never just one thing,” LaFleur said. “There’s enough blame, if you will, to go to all of us, collectively.”
The Packers will now turn their attention to facing the New Orleans Saints in Week 3 of their schedule next week. Can they rebound and improve their record to 2-1 in their home opener at historic Lambeau Field in front of their fans?
