Micah Parsons unanimous winner of AP Defensive Rookie of the Year!

Never a doubt!

Michael W.

It was an incredible season for Dallas Cowboys rookie LB Micah Parsons, who became the first NFL rookie to have recorded 75-plus tackles and 10-plus sacks in the last 25 seasons.

And now, he's being rewarded for his efforts. He's made NFL history by becoming the first unanimous choice for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year:

Of course, Parsons also outran the likes of Tyreek Hill and Nick Chubb at the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas last week. And he accomplished all of this while playing injured all season.

Speaking to Bleacher Report, Parsons revealed that he suffered a hyperextended knee during training camp, but didn't want to miss any time.

"It was just something that kept lingering," he said. "When you hyperextend something it needs rest. But I was like, 'I can't take no rest.'"

We're looking forward to seeing what Parsons accomplishes next season!
