Najee Harris receives award during halftime of Steeler's preseason opener
Well deserved!
The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting the Seattle Seahawks tonight. During halftime, Steelers organization presented the Joe Greene Great Performance Award who is given to the rookie of the year.
This year, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pro Football Writers of America voted for Najee Harris. At 22 years old, Pittsburgh running back scored 10 touchdowns last season, and played a key role in helping his team reach the playoffs.
In 17 games played last season, Harris proved that he was ready for the NFL by amassing 1,200 rushing yards and 74 receptions.
Pittsburgh fans can't wait to see what Harris has to offer this season after a spectacular rookie season.
