Najee Harris reveal true feelings of Matt Canada

It goes without saying that this was not the finest season for Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada. The rumors and whispers about him potentially being let go as his team struggled offensively all year didn't dissipate, and the fact that the Steelers have now officially finished on the outside looking in at the postseason certainly won't do anything to quell those thoughts. 

But if you're looking for the Steelers to throw their offensive coordinator under the bus, think again. According to running back Najee Harris, the entire team is behind Canada.

"We all believe in Matt Canada," Harris said after today's victory over Cleveland that proved to be the final game of the season. 

He continued: 

"I can't control none of that, so I'm not really gonna answer that, but we all believe in Canada. Everybody's saying he called the same plays, but everybody calls the same plays. You can look at everybody everywhere. Everybody calls the same plays."

"All that play calling stuff, I think that's just a coverup for just the lack of stuff that we were doing on the field as players. I never bought into none of that," he said. "'Cause I know at the end of the day, we're the ones who gotta make the plays."

It certainly sounds as though Harris is giving his endorsement for Canada to return next year.
