If the Dallas Cowboys are to improve to 6-2 in the 2022 NFL Season tomorrow afternoon, they may have to do so without one of their top offensive weapons.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott, who was injured in last weekend's game against the Detroit Lions, isn't expected to suit up tomorrow at AT&T Stadium against the Chicago Bears.

Elliott didn't participate in Friday's walkthrough as his team continues preparations for their NFC North foe.

"The only chance he would have to play is if he keeps going on the right [path] that he actually has been going," coach Mike McCarthy said. "I mean he's doing a lot better than we anticipated. But if he practices tomorrow, then he'd have a chance of playing."

Tony Pollard will now be shouldering the bulk of the ground attack on Sunday, while the Cowboys have also called up Malik Davis and Qadree Ollison from the practice squad.
