The Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay is officially over, as he was traded to the New York Jets earlier this year for a major haul. It finally brought a conclusion to the lengthy drama between the two sides of where he would play next season, and what appropriate compensation that the Packers could receive in return.

In the words of defensive lineman Solomon Thomas, Rodgers has already mad a massive impact on the Jets players.
“The room is buzzing right now — the building is buzzing — and it’s buzzing for a reason,” Thomas said to ESPN. “You bring in a solidified Hall of Famer like Aaron Rodgers and it’s going to change some things. His leadership, his knowledge, the way he plays the game — you know he’s going to put up points and you know he’s going to play smart football. It brings a whole new youthfulness around this team, even for the vets.”
