Each National Football League team is going to have tons more room to work with when it comes to finances and player contracts for next season.
Earlier today, it was announced by the NFL that the salary cap is increasing to an unprecedented $255.4 million per club in 2024, an increase of $30 million for each team.
"The unprecedented $30 million increase per club in this year's salary cap is the result of the full repayment of all amounts advanced by clubs and deferred by the players during the COVID pandemic as well as an extraordinary increase in media revenue for the 2024 season," the league said in a statement.
Are we going to see teams use the franchise tag in a more liberal manner with the revelation of this news?
