Outspoken Packers QB Aaron Rodgers blasts “propaganda”
The outspoken Packers QB is at it again!
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers came under fire for misleading the media with regards to his immunization status against COVID-19. He tested positive for the illness several weeks ago and was forced to miss his team's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The NFL soon launched an investigation into Rodgers and the Packers, and have announced punishment for both the quarterback and the team. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Packers have been fined $300K; meanwhile, Rodgers (as well as WR Allen Lazard) have each been fined $14,650.
During his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers blasted what he feels is "propaganda" when science isn't able to be questioned.
"When did we lose the ability to respect somebody's opinion?" he opined. "My thoughts on Covid are my opinion. Why can't we have more conversations between people with different opinions?"
"Vaccinated people & unvaccinated people are testing positive for Covid.. the facts of whatever science we're using here & it's changing all the time doesn't really back up having a 2 class system"
