Packers attempted several major trades but failed

The NFL Trade Deadline has come and gone, and the 3-5 Green Bay Packers would ultimately not make any moves as they attempt to dig themselves out of the massive rut they find themselves in. However, they did attempt to make two major moves.
In the first place, they reportedly tried to make a run at Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool. And according to NFL Network's Ian they made a significant offer to try and acquire tight end Darren Waller from the Las Vegas Raiders.
Waller, who is in the middle of a hefty three year, $51 million deal, has battled injuries this season but has been able to record 16 receptions for 175 yards and one touchdown in 2022.
