Packers QB Aaron Rodgers ends engagement with Shailene Woodley
Big news out of the personal life of Rodgers.
While the next move in the National Football League career remains a mystery for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, there's big news regarding his personal life that's been confirmed.
He's ended his engagement to actress Shailene Woodley; the pair had originally confirmed their romance and marriage plans a year ago.
Per InTouchWeeky:
“While Shailene is supportive of Aaron’s career, he put football first and they were barely spending any time together,” says one insider. “She felt he neglected their relationship. Neither of them was happy.”
The Green Bay Packers quarterback, 38, is “an independent guy,” the sources adds, noting Aaron “got cold feet” about his impending nuptials to the Big Little Lies actress, 30.
Ultimately, Shailene and Aaron “couldn’t make it work,” a second insider explains. “There were too many obstacles. They’re both adults and decided to part amicably.”
Of course, Woodley was nowhere to be seen during last week's NFL Honors in which Rodgers won his 4th NFL MVP award. Rodgers thanked his "inner circle" during his acceptance speech, but didn't mention his fiancé.
