As Steelers fans, we're tired of watching other teams celebrate what we've come to expect to be able to compete for on a yearly basis! It's been far too long since we've watched the Steelers win the Super Bowl, and one member of the organization is aiming to change that.
According to tight end Pat Freiermuth, not only are Steelers fans the best in the National Football League (duh), but it's way past time to deliver a championship to the Steel City.
“I want to win a Super Bowl”, he told Cameron Heyward on the Not Just Football podcast when asked what his goal were for the upcoming season. “Just seeing the Chiefs and the Eagles compete and everything leading up to that in the playoffs, I just want to be a part of meaningful games in Pittsburgh and play a home playoff game in Pittsburgh. Nothing better, they’re the best fans in the world”.
The 2022 NFL season was the first in three years that the Steelers failed to qualify for the postseason. However, with second year quarterback Kenny Pickett having gained valuable experience, he and the rest of his teammates including Freiermuth aim to help us take back what's ours in 2023!
