It's official!

Earlier today, we reported that Ben Roethlisberger strongly believed the Pittsburgh Steelers would be naming former Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky as their starting quarterback for their season opener this Sunday.

In addition, this morning the Pittsburgh's organization had published on its Twitter page the new team captains for the 2022-2023 season.Among the 5 players, Trubisky is one of them.

Here's NFL insider Ian Rapoport reporting that the Steelers starting roster was released today and it confirms Big Ben's prediction: Trubisky will be the starter against the Cincinnati Bengals.

As you can see on the picture, the #2 spot belongs to Mason Rudolph. That means Kenny Pickett will have to keep working to earn his spot.

Are you happy with that starting line up? The Steelers will visit the Bengals on Sunday at 1PM on CBS.

To be continued...
