With the NFL regular season quickly approaching, all teams must be down to the mandated 53-man roster by tomorrow afternoon, meaning that there are going to be plenty of cuts between now and then.
For the Pittsburgh Steelers, they've completed the pre-season and are now in the process of trimming down their roster. And this afternoon, they've announced that 10 additional names have been cut from the team as they get down to 53 names.
The following names were cut:
Cornerback Lavert Hill, defensive lineman Manny Jones, inside linebacker Tanner Muse, outside linebacker Toby Ndukwe, offensive linemen Le’Raven Clark and William Dunkle, quarterback Tanner Morgan, running back Darius Hagans and safeties Jalen Elliott and Kenny Robinson.
The Steelers open the regular season on Sunday, September 10 at Acrisure Stadium against the visiting San Francisco 49ers.
