Pittsburgh Steelers release pair of wide receivers
Their time in Pittsburgh is over.

With the NFL regular season drawing ever closer, teams are continuing to round out their rosters in order to get down to the 53 man minimum needed.
And for the Pittsburgh Steelers, this means that a pair of wide receivers are no longer with the team. They announced today that they have waived/injured wideouts Hakeem Butler and Cody White; Butler was signed from the XFL's St. Louis Battlehawks and put up 51 receptions for 599 yards and a league-best 8 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, White only played in one game last year, but racked up five receptions for 33 yards the previous season.
In a corresponding move, the Steelers have signed WR Aron Cruickshank as well as LB Kuony Deng.
