Punishment revealed for NFL officials who blew call against Raiders!
You knew this was coming!
We saw one of the worst non-calls in NFL playoff history last night during the Cincinnati Bengals and Las Vegas Raiders Wild Card matchup at Paul Brown Stadium.
Late in the 2nd quarter, quarterback Joe Burrow threw a touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd that, according to the rules, should not have counted since there was a whistle prior to the actual reception. But the officials doubled down on their mistake afterwards, stating that the whistle occurred after the catch.
And now, Referee Jerome Boger and the crew who worked the game aren't expected to officiate any more games for the remainder of the NFL postseason.
