Report: Cam Sutton returning to Steelers
He was released by the Detroit Lions after an alleged case of domestic battery.
It looks as though there's going to be yet another addition to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have already made multiple notable changes to their roster during the offseason.
According to multiple reports, the Steelers are set to sign former Detroit Lions CB Cam Sutton, who was released by the team earlier in the year following an alleged incident of domestic battery that resulted in an arrest warrant being issued. This would mark his second tenure with the Steelers, with whom he played from 2017 to 2022.
Sutton was drafted with the 94th overall pick (Round 3) of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Steelers after playing college ball at Tennessee. He would sign with the Detroit Lions last offseason on a three year, $33 million deal and amassed 65 total tackles (50 solo), one interception, six passes defended, and one forced fumble.
However, he was released by the Lions following the aforementioned incident involving domestic battery.
