It appears as though the Dallas Cowboys and tight end Dalton Schultz are headed for a split.
According to Matt Verderame of FanSided, the Cowboys are unlikely to place the franchise tag on the tight end for the second straight season, which would mean that he would become "one of the most sought-after free agents on the market".
Last season, Schultz racked up 577 yards by hauling in 57 receptions along with five total touchdowns.
