As the Dallas Cowboys continue their preparations to face the Los Angeles Rams, there have been reports emerging that they could be looking to make a trade with the Arizona Cardinals.
According to the anonymous source who spoke with NFL Analysis Network, the Cowboys are eying Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz.
“The Cowboys would love to get something done before the trade deadline," the source said. "Zach Ertz is a name they have talked about. Conversations are ongoing between Dallas and Arizona."
A move for a player like Ertz could make sense for the Cowboys, who let Dalton Schultz walk in the offseason. The three-time Pro Bowl selection was originally taken by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft and later won Super Bowl LII with the team.
