They've requested permission to speak to him.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hired Brian Flores to serve on head coach Mike Tomlin's staff as a defensive special assistant coach as well as the team’s linebackers coach. As you may remember, Flores' previous job was head coach of the Miami Dolphins; he also made headlines for the high profile lawsuit against the NFL for racial discrimination.
And upon completion of his first year with the Steelers, another team has their eyes on him. According to reports, the Atlanta Falcons have requested permission to interview Flores for their now-vacant defensive coordinator position.
Flores filed class action lawsuit in district court in New York last year, alleging that not only was he a victim of the "Rooney Rule", but that the NFL is run like a slave plantation. He soon added the Houston Texans into his lawsuit, as he alleges that they didn't hire him as a retaliation for filing suit against the League. Flores was dismissed by the Dolphins last January after three seasons on the job and a 24-25 record.
