He's barely played since joining Pittsburgh.

It doesn't look like things are going to be working out between the Pittsburgh Steelers and veteran cornerback Desdmond King, who was thrilled to join the Steelers during the offseason.
After having played only a single defensive snap, the Steelers have informed him that they intend to outright release him if they can't find a trading partner.
Meanwhile, in a corresponding move, the Steelers are expected to be on the verge of signing defensive back Darius Rush off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad.
Prior to his signing with the Steelers, the 28-year-old King had appeared in 98 total NFL games (53 starts) and has racked up nine interceptions, two touchdowns, three forced fumbles, 33 pass deflections and 8.5 sacks. He was originally drafted in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams and was eventually trade to the Tennessee Titans before signing in Houston in 2021.
