Reports of shots being fired near Chiefs Super Bowl parade
Fans are being advised to leave the area.

Near the conclusion of the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade in downtown Kansas City, reports of gunfire began making the rounds on social media, with local police instructing fans to leave the area.
Reportedly, two armed individuals have been detained, while there are no available reports on injuries suffered.

Chiefs quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes wrote the following message on social media:
Let's hope that there is nobody who is seriously injured and that anyone responsible who hasn't been detained is immediately caught and fully prosecuted.
