Rumor: Cowboys to target Chiefs wideout?

How would you like to bring him aboard to Dallas?

Fans of the Dallas Cowboys continue to anticipate the "all-in" moves that team owner and general manager Jerry Jones promised as part of their offseason strategy. However, thus far, the only significant move has been the return of former fan favorite running back Ezekiel Elliott, with no other substantial additions to speak of.

While they did host wide receiver Zay Jones for a recent visit, one Dallas Cowboys website writer believes that a former Kansas City Chiefs wideout could be an ideal addition, along with a former Las Vegas Raiders wideout. Nick Harris suggests that the Cowboys go after either Mecole Hardman or Hunter Renfrow:

“With Zay Jones visiting this week, the Cowboys may also be in the market for a receiver,” Harris wrote on May 9. “If Jones doesn’t work out, Mecole Hardman or Hunter Renfrow could bring some playmaking ability to the offense next season.”

Renfrow is a two-time national champion during his collegiate days at Clemson, and was selected by the Raiders in the 5th round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, Hardman played college football at Georgia and has multiple Super Bowl rings; he caught the game winning pass to secure the championship for the Chiefs earlier this year.

Cowboys fans, do either of these names make sense for the team to add in free agency?
