Big setback for Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without third safety Damontae Kazee, as he has been suspended for violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.

Currently on the injured list due to a wrist injury, Kazee received a 3 game suspension according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

The good news is that the team's two games played will count towards the calculation of the 3 games. He will therefore not be able to return before week 4.

His presence on the Steelers defense is more or less a safety cushion since safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and Terrell Edmunds are the first and second players on the depth chart at the position.

Kazee, who is currently in his 6th NFL season, has appeared in 69 games and racked up 251 tackles total. Before signing with the Steelers, he was suited up for the Atlanta Falcons and the Dallas Cowboys.
