Do the Pittsburgh Steelers have a potential candidate in mind to replace offensive coordinator Matt Canada if they ultimately decide to pull the trigger on the move that just about all Steelers fans want to see?
Steelers reporter Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette was asked the following: “Who do you expect realistically the Steelers to target in the off-season for their inevitable vacant OC job?”
Responded Dulac: “Way too early to speculate. But a good one would be a [Mike] Tomlin friend -- Jon Gruden.”
Gruden, as you may remember, resigned as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders two years ago after concerning content in his emails came to light. Right now, he's a consultant with the New Orleans Saints.
