The Pittsburgh Steelers raised more than a few eyebrows during the offseason when they acquired quarterback Justin Fields from the Chicago Bears; he'll be teamed up with Russell Wilson for the completely new-look Steelers quarterback situation.
But could the Steelers also be planning on using Fields in a completely different capacity? How about on kickoff returns?
Steelers RB Jaylen Warren indicated that was a possibility while making an appearance on Cam Heyward's podcast.
"I think it's pretty good," Warren said of the new format, per ESPN. "As soon as you touch the ball, that's when everything starts to happen. "Our special teams coordinator was talking about Justin Fields being back there. We're like, 'Hold up, hold up.' We looked at him like, 'Justin Fields is about to be back there?' I don't know. I think it's cool."
Steelers fans, just how odd would this look?
