The Pittsburgh Steelers have already begun the process of narrowing down their roster prior to the start of Training Camp, which begins late next month.
According to multiple sources, the team has waived wide receiver Denzel Mims, who had been with the team since last October; the news was originally revealed by Mike Garafolo:
Mims was originally selected by the New York Jets in the 2020 NFL Draft with the No. 59 overall pick, and would rack up 23 catches for a total of 357 yards in his rookie campaign.
He would eventually be traded to the Detroit Lions, though he would be waived as part of an injury settlement.
