Steelers reportedly closing in on major acquisition
A significant addition coming to Pittsburgh?
The Pittsburgh Steelers have already made significant additions to their team this for the upcoming season, having completely overhauled the quarterback position with the additions of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields while bidding goodbye to Kenny Pickett, Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph.
But are they on the verge of another major addition to the team? According to analyst Bryant McFadden, the Steelers are set to bring aboard a "significant playmaker":
Not long after the Draft, Steelers general manager Omar Khan said that they may not be finished adding, and could be in the market for a wide receiver.
"We'll see. Like I've said, if there's ever an opportunity to improve the team, we'll look at it and if it makes sense, we're going to go after it," Khan said. "But yeah, we restructured Alex's contract and it puts us in a position to be flexible with some things if there's an opportunity to do something."
