Steelers reportedly interested in ex-Cowboys OT
A new Steeler on the horizon?
The Football Feed
The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the midst of preparations for their Week 2 matchup against the visiting Cleveland Browns, and will be needing a bounce back performance in a big way after their disappointing showing last weekend against the San Fransisco 49ers.
But could general manager Omar Khan be eying a particular former member of the Dallas Cowboys? According to reports, the Steelers are said to be one of a handful of teams showing interest in offensive tackle La’El Collins, who is currently a free agent.
Collins, who was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cowboys in 2019 with a five year, $50 million deal, was released by the team after two years. He then agreed to a three-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, though he suffered a torn ACL in Week 16, and was placed on the PUP list for the start of this season; he was then subsequently released.
Steelers fans, how would you like to see him in Pittsburgh?
