Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth leaves with hamstring injury
It's enough of the injury stuff!
The Football Feed
As if the Pittsburgh Steelers aren't banged up enough, they're now down another key player.
Tight end Pat Freiermuth was injured during today's game against the Houston Texans, and will not return. The team has announced that he'll be missing the rest of the game with a hamstring injury.
After a reception running back Najee Harris, Freiermuth remained down on the field in clear discomfort and was eventually able to gingerly make it back to the blue medical tent with the help of team medical staff. Prior to his injury, he had caught three passes for seven yards against the Texans.
In his absence, the Steelers will be looking to Darnell Washington and Connor Heyward to step up.
