Stephen A. Smith reveals he's undergone surgery
The outspoken host has been missing from ESPN's “First Take”.
He's never been known to shy away from speaking his mind, and he certainly doesn't care what anyone else thinks. ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith is well-known for his outspoken opinions, regardless of who they offend.
However, fans may have noticed that he's been absent from the network as of late. Smith took to social media to announce that he's currently recovering from surgery to correct a shoulder issue:
He tweeted: “Appreciate the love I’ve been receiving from everyone who’s missed me on @FirstTake. I’m out because I’m rehabbing from shoulder surgery. Partial tear — rotator cuff AND Bicep, along with frayed Labrum, plus a Bone Spur. Aging sucks, but it is what it is. Back next month.#AllLove”
We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on ESPN soon.
