With the 2022 NFL Season right around the corner, this is exactly the last thing that the Tennessee Titans needed right now.
Star outside linebacker Harold Landry's season is over before it before it's even began, as he suffered a torn ACL during practice earlier today. The news was first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter. He was hoping to make it two straight Pro Bowl seasons, but unfortunately for him, he'll have to wait for the 2023 season at the earliest.
"A loss before the season even begins: Titans’ pass rusher Harold Landry tore his ACL during practice Wednesday, per source," Schefter wrote on Twitter."
Landry, who is coming off a career high 12 sacks in 2021, was signed to a five-year, $87.5 million extension by Tennessee this offseason.
