The season is over for Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Zech McPherson before it even officially began.
He was carted off the field during last night's preseason game against the Cleveland Browns, and it was later revealed that his injury was a ruptured Achilles tendon.
McPhearson, who is a fourth-round pick of the Eagles from the 2021 NFL Draft, racked up 99 snaps on defense while also playing 80% of the Eagles’ special-teams snaps last season.
However, the good news is that he is keeping a positive attitude and promising to return stronger than ever, writing the following message on social media:
"I’m not wavered by my situation. I worship a God who gives me life and strength daily. I’ll bounce back in due time! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers❤️🔥"
